Ok, so, for those who haven't seen my last deviation :
This is Apogée Rounded Sans, my first try ever at designing a font, hence the "funny" name.
Here you are viewing a little sheet, but you can download the beta version of the font (OpenType .otf).
Some glyphs are missing (but not really important ones), some don't work (but not really important ones...), some are just looking like a bad joke (numbers '2' and '3' ).
Metrics informations have not been done yet (but look at least OK). So be carefull to manually kern.
Did you change the lowercase k? It stands out way too much. Perhaps a k with a greater focus on the vertical lines would be more fitting; something more like the capital R. The same counts for the capital K. M and W seem too wide although that might be a matter of taste.
As for the numbers, 2 and 3 indeed look a bit awkward. 5 should have a longer top horizontal I think and 9 and 6 are falling to the right.
The terminal of the lowercase r should be a bit higher I think and the tittles of i and j should be a bit bigger. I'm not very fond of the bend in b and d; at small sizes it actually disturbs the reading experience a bit for me. I think a bend like that could work if you use it like serifs but you will be creating an entirely different font then.
I think if you fix the issues I mentioned you have a very solid typeface. The bend in b and d aside, I like how the text looks at small sizes. It's minimalist without being geometric or overly "modern" (futuristic[?]). At small sizes particularly you see that the tittles of i and j and actually the dot as well are just too small; at this size they almost disappear. The comma is well pronounced but the dot almost blends with the background.
-- Did you bring gold or silver to set me free, to save my body from the cold gaol walls and my neck from the high gallows tree? I've no gold, no silver to set you free, for I've come to see you hanging! hanging on the high gallows tree.
Any chance you'd show something you've done (not necessarily with this font) ?
